The O’Malia’s on College Mall Road in Bloomington opened as Jewel and later became Mr. D’s Fresh Food Market. Marsh purchased the Mr. D’s chain in 2003 and converted the store to O’Malia’s soon after. It closed eleven years later. Today, the remodeled building is home to Goodwill. 

The Marsh Supermarket in Fairfield, Ohio, was opened in 1963 and renovated eighteen years later. It closed in 2013. The building was later home to Planet Fitness but was eventually demolished. Today, ALDI stands on the site.

The Marsh warehouse at 333 S. Franklin Road was purchased from National Tea Company -owners of Standard Supermarkets- in 1982. My grandpa had an office there! The warehouse closed in 2016. Today, the 137,000-square-foot building appears to be occupied by LODX LLC. 

The Marsh supermarket in Laynecrest Shopping Center first opened in 1960. It closed in 2014. Most recently, the remodeled building was home to Discount Liquidators.

Noblesville’s Marsh Supermarket on River Road opened around 1994. The supermarket closed in 2017 and was demolished in 2021. Today, the site is home to multi-unit residential properties and an office building.

A Marsh supermarket first opened at 35 North Lynhurst Drive in 1958. After several renovations and expansions, the store closed in 2015. Today, the building is home to Brothers Wholesale.

The Marsh supermarket at 880 US-31 South in Greenwood opened as a Standard Grocery. Standard built some really off-the-wall concepts! Later, it became home to Preston-Safeway. Marsh eventually acquired it and operated it for years before it closed in 2012. Today, the building is home to Greg Hubler’s DriveHubler preowned car dealer.

The Marsh Supermarket in Martinsville first opened in 1982. It closed forty years later. Today, the building serves as the occasional home of Spirit Halloween.

The Marsh Supermarket at Traders Point in Indianapolis opened as one of the company’s first “Lifestyle” stores in 2004. It closed in 2017 and was recently demolished.

The Marsh Supermarket in West Lafayette originally opened in 1959. It closed in 2017. The building sat vacant before it was remodeled into a new home for Fresh Thyme.
